Metalsmithing: Silver Stacking Rings

In this introductory workshop we will use traditional metalsmithing techniques to create a set of beautiful textured silver stacking rings. Participants will learn to size, texture and form a ring band, using forming hammers and mandrels. We will then fire up the torch and solder the band into a solid ring, and file and polish to a final finish. Each person will make and take home a set of three solid silver rings. This is a fun way to access professional tools and experience a taste of metalsmithing in a working jewelry studio!

All supplies, including silver, included in cost. No prior experience needed.
