Metalsmithing: Silver Hoop Earrings

Have you ever wanted that perfect pair of hoop earrings that are just the right size and thickness for you? In this four hour workshop we will make a custom pair of solid sterling silver hoop earrings using traditional metalsmithing techniques such as forming, soldering and finishing. We will begin by modeling different sizes out of soft wire so you know exactly how big to make your earrings. Various material thicknesses are available, so you can make small & wide, large & narrow, or somewhere in between.
This is a great introduction to some of the fundamental aspects of metalsmithing and open to any level of experience.
Please note: Enough silver is included in the workshop price to make a medium size and thickness pair of earrings. If a large size and width is desired, there will be an extra silver charge based on the market price of silver per ounce.
