In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to ink a series of flat botanicals and ink/print them using a traditional copper plate. We will explore textural details of leaves and flowers to create unique compositions and layers. Using natural materials creates stunning imagery and replicates a technique originally used by natural scientists to capture accurate botanical detail prior to the development of photography. Open to all levels of experience.

Theresa Wingert is an accomplished printmaker, photographer and filmmaker, and has built a career as a visual story-teller.

This workshop can be taken together with Relief Printing on 4/23/22 or on its own.
