Advanced Monoprinting with Wendy Kahle

Friday 9am-2:30pm

Participants will learn several advanced monoprinting techniques as a follow up to Wendy Kahle’s popular intro workshop. Topics covered include Chine Collé, viscosity printing, multiple plate printing and registration, as well as paper selection and hand coloring. Advanced Monoprinting is a fantastic opportunity to work on our large Takach press (pictured above) with the guidance of a true professional.

There is also an option to request additional concepts to be covered, in order to integrate monoprinting into an artists specific practice. 

This class is suitable for those who have taken Intro to Monoprinting, or have previous printmaking experience.
